The first names have been announced for Reading & Leeds Festival 2019, with The 1975, Post Malone, Foo Fighters and Twenty One Pilots topping the bill. Tickets go on sale this Friday 23rd November at 9am.
As announced on BBC Radio 1 by Greg James, the news confirms the longstanding rumour that The 1975 will headline. They’ll be joined by Foo Fighters, the first time they’ve headlined Reading & Leeds since 2012.
Twenty One Pilots will also be grabbing a Main Stage headline set in 2019. Fresh off the back of their new album ‘Trench’, they’ve been moving up the Reading & Leeds line-up in recent years.
The headline bill is completed by Post Malone, who pulled one of the biggest crowds of Reading & Leeds 2018.
Joining the headliners are Billie Eilish, Bastille, Denis Sulta, Pale Waves, Camelphat, Blossoms, Stefflon Don, The Distillers, NOT3S, The Amazons, Yungblud, Sundara Karma, Juice Wrld, Hayley Kiyoko, Bowling For Soup, Pvris, Crucast and G Flip.
Greg James also revealed that Annie Mac will be running through the full list of names announced tonight (Nov 21st) from 7pm.
Reading & Leeds takes place from 23rd to 25th August 2019. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am.
