All Points East 2019 welcomes Mumford & Sons and their own Gentlemen of the Road event to Victoria Park this summer. Tickets for All Points East 2019 are on sale now.
The band, in a British festival exclusive, will hit Victoria Park on Saturday 1st June, and are proud to welcome British rap and grime pioneer Dizzee Rascal in support, Texas’ R&B Grammy Award winner Leon Bridges, indie-rock favourites The Vaccines, and recent BRITs Critics’ Choice winner Sam Fender.
The fast-rising Brit Jade Bird, Ireland’s favourite new son Dermot Kennedy, Australian singer songwriter Gretta Ray and Canadian dream-pop band Dizzy conclude the first acts to join Mumford & Sons for the first weekend of the festival season.
Gentlemen of the Road is Mumford & Sons’ quickly established community-minded touring festival. The band are very excited to join forces with All Points East for one of their biggest shows of the year.
Gracing the All Points East line up for the first time is Grammy Award winning soul artist, Leon Bridges.
Like Mumford & Sons, another British pioneer of music at All Points East is Dizzee Rascal. Known for his distinctive rapping style, Dizzee’s first album Boy in Da Corner won the Mercury Prize in 2003. A true British legend.
The Vaccines are long-standing friends of Mumford & Sons, having performed with them across the world since their inception. Over the past year, the band have been making a comeback with their fourth album, Combat Sports.
As the winner of this year’s BRITs Critics Choice Award, Sam Fender is the artist on everyone’s lips right now. Sam wraps his pertinent words in rousing, guitar anthems and delivers them directly with a cavernous, powerful vocal.
Dermot Kennedy’s gravelly tones, beautiful acoustic sounds mixed with his hip-hop influences are winning him new fans daily to join the loyal army that are already hanging on his every word and note.
Jade Bird is another rising British star whose music has already brought her much attention on both sides of the Atlantic. A self-titled debut album is landing this April, just in time for her return to All Points East.
