Boardmasters have expanded their line-up for 2018, adding headline slots from George Ezra and Catfish And The Bottlemen – and a UK exclusive from grime star Kano.
Returning to Cornwall’s Watergate Bay from the 8 – 12 August 2018, Catfish & the Bottlemen headline on the Saturday, whilst the previously-announced Chemical Brothers kick off the event on the Friday night. George Ezra closes the surf and music festival on the Sunday.
Years & Years, Rag’n’Bone Man, Skream, Declan McKenna, Rae Morris and Everything Everything have also been added to the line up among a wave of other names.
With everything from alt-rock, grime, house, electropop, singer-songwriters and much more, Boardmasters is set to return bigger and better than ever to the stunning Cornish coastline for another huge year of surf and music.
Inspired by the freedom, adventure and creativity of surfing and music, Boardmasters was born in 1981. Expect parties that run late into the night and a beautiful beach to recuperate on during the day.
The 5-day event is situated across two stunning locations in Cornwall – the surfing hub of the UK, Fistral Beach, where world class International Surf Competitions take place, and Watergate Bay. Tickets for Boardmasters 2018 are on sale now.
