Fans of the alternative just got 10 new reasons to get excited about Slam Dunk Festival 2019. Building on the line-up, the UK’s alternative all-dayer adds even more names to the May Bank Holiday bill.

The Impericon stage at Slam Dunk has become a festival institution and 2019 is set to continue its legacy. American powerhouses The Bronx, visceral outfit Cancer Bats and hardcore supergroup Angel Du$t join Glassjaw, Gallows,Turnstile and Knocked Loose, completing the first of two heavy stages.

Jorja Smith and Skepta to headline Field Day 2019

In his only London festival appearance of the summer, Skepta will be taking to Field Day’s new north London main stage for a headline show on 7 June 2019. Hailing from nearby Meridian Walk Estate, Tottenham, Skepta’s performance will be a homecoming gig the likes of which London has never seen.

Topping the bill on Saturday will be Jorja Smith. Her critically-acclaimed debut album Lost & Found earned her a Grammy-nomination (Best New Artist), and has confirmed her position as a global superstar.

SXSW 2019 adds showcasing artists Yung Lean, Charlotte OC & more

The South by Southwest Music Festival (SXSW) has announced the third wave of Showcasing Artists invited to perform at the 2019 event.

This eclectic blend of up-and-coming artists from around the world will perform in intimate clubs as well as renowned music venues for industry professionals, influencers, international media and music fans alike. The SXSW Music Festival’s 33rd annual event takes place Monday, March 11 – Sunday, March 17, 2019 in downtown Austin, Texas.

Junction 2 adds Dixon, Hunee & more for 2019 two-day debut

The full line up has been announced for Junction 2 – making its two-day debut on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th June 2019 at Boston Manor Park.

With the likes of previously announced Bicep, Craig Richards, Richie Hawtin and Daphni across the weekend, the festival adds Dixon, Ricardo Villalobos, Hunee, Gilles Peterson, Tale Of Us, Loco Dice, Amelie Lens and more.
