Festival fans react to Stormzy as Glastonbury headliner

It was always going to kick up a storm. British rapper Stormzy has been confirmed as the first headliner for Glastonbury Festival 2019. Traditionally hosting bands on the famous Pyramid Stage, the festival has evolved to become so much more than that.

The Croydon artist, real name Michael Omari, will be the first grime MC to headline Glastonbury a year on from his BRIT award winning album Gang Signs and Prayers. He previously performed on the Other Stage in 2017.

Sam Fender shares new single ‘That Sound’

Sam Fender has shared a new single, That Sound, lifted from his forthcoming debut EP ‘Dead Boys’, out 20th November through Polydor Records.

The young North Shields musician, whose lyrics tackle hard-hitting subjects of social importance and generational significance, are broadly drawn from his experiences growing up on Tyneside. The content is significant, and wrapped in rousing, propulsive, arena-sized anthems.
