Citadel 2018 adds Pumarosa, Joe Goddard, Ten Tonnes + more

Having announced UK exclusive headliners Tame Impala, and a first wave of artists including CHVRCHES, Leon Bridges, Fat White Family, GOAT and more, Citadel share the line-ups of three more stages.

Kopparberg return to Citadel with their new Kopparberg Outsider stage, presented by DIY. Psychedelic five piece Pumarosa lead the billing which also features fast-rising singer-songwriter Kamio, indie newcomer Ten Tonnes, dreamy rockers Plastic Mermaids, hotly-tipped South Londoner Matt Maltese and the genre-blending LUCIA.

Citadel Festival 2018 :: LINE UP :: Chvrches, Shame, Honne

Having already announced Australian psyche-rockers Tame Impala as their UK Exclusive headliners, Citadel share the rest of their line-up, which includes CHVRCHES (London Festival Exclusive), Fat White Family, Leon Bridges, GOAT (UK Exclusive) and more.

There’s also the colourful array of experiences, activities and workshops to get involved with, from science and art classes, fun fitness & wellbeing, to talks and debates. The Science Camp, Spandex Stage, Art Studio and Sunday Papers Live are amongst those returning.

Lovebox & Citadel Festivals move to Gunnersbury Park

Lovebox and Citadel has announced that they will be taking place at West London’s historic Gunnersbury Park. Lovebox will take place Friday 13th – Saturday 14th July 2018, with Citadel taking place the day after on Sunday 15th July.

Lovebox will be announcing their first wave of talent on Tuesday 13th February, and Citadel will announce their headliner on Tuesday 6th February. The nearest tube stations are Acton Town, South Ealing and Chiswick. A far, far cry from Victoria Park.

Lovebox & Citadel move to Brockwell Park in 2018

Two London festivals announce their plans to cross the river in 2018. Lovebox and Citadel will make the move from East London’s Victoria Park to South London’s Brockwell Park next summer.

After 15th birthday celebrations this year which saw Frank Ocean and Chase & Status headline at Victoria Park, Lovebox announce details of their new home for 2018.

Citadel Festival 2017 :: Official After Party w Bonobo {DJ Set}

London’s brightest new festival is back for its third edition. Having already confirmed Foals as 2017’s headliners, as well as a host of names including Bonobo, Laura Marling, Wild Beasts, Michael Kiwanuka, A Blaze of Feather, Ry X and many more, Citadel now shares the details of its first ever after party, featuring a DJ set from Bonobo.

Citadel Festival 2017 :: Ben Howard’s new band among new additions

Having already confirmed Foals as 2017’s headliners in a London festival exclusive, as well as a host of names including Bonobo, Laura Marling, Wild Beasts, Michael Kiwanuka, Ry X and many more, Citadel now unveils the identity behind one of the more mysterious names on their line-up, A Blaze of Feather.

Citadel is proud to host A Blaze of Feather’s very first festival in the capital. Mystery has shrouded the project over recent months which sees Ben Howard’s band explore the song’s of their long-term guitarist Mickey Smith.

Festival Review :: Citadel Festival 2016

We associate Sundays with hangovers, regrets, food comas and walks of shame. And that needs to change. Citadel Festival is about celebrating Sunday as anything but a day of rest. Victoria Park is always pretty good at bringing London together on a sunny day, and Citadel Festival made it even better.

For a festival not entirely centred around music, it was a bloody good day of music. We have no idea how or why people found time to sit down for a £35 roast served by The Sportsman gastropub of Whitstable. Here are some of the totally lost-for-words amazing artists you may have missed…
