Wolf Alice have won this year’s Mercury Prize, beating the favourites for the award.

Wolf Alice’s Visions of Life was one of 12 records shortlisted for the prestigious prize, which celebrates the best of UK music and recognises artistic achievement across an eclectic range of contemporary genres.

BBC Music Introducing Live ’18 with Ben Howard, Emily Eavis

As part of BBC Music Introducing LIVE ‘18, Ben Howard will be bringing his mercurial blend of folk and rock music to London’s Tobacco Dock for an intimate headline performance on Thursday 8 November, with support from Marika Hackman.

Muse announce Simulation Theory LP & share video for ‘The Dark Side’

Festival headliners Muse have announced that their new studio album, ‘Simulation Theory’, will be released on November 9th through Warner Bros.

The eleven-track record was produced by the band, along with several award-winning producers, including Rich Costey, Mike Elizondo, Shellback and Timbaland. Each of the album’s songs will be accompanied by a video.

Printworks London Autumn/Winter shows announced

Printworks London has announced a massive Autumn/Winter rave season. Printworks will host more than 25 events, welcoming the likes of The Black Madonna, Theo Parrish, SG Lewis, Bugzy Malone, Bicep, Nina Kraviz, Chromeo and Deadmau5 to the venue, with even more nights and acts TBA.

The Autumn/Winter Season is set to showcase boundary-pushing live acts as well as key electronic tastemakers. From techno legend Sven Väth to Detroit house pioneer Moodymann, world-renowned party and label Tale Of Us, Ellum label head Maceo Plex and Chicago superstar The Black Madonna.

The Warehouse Project 2018 marks the end of Store Street

The Warehouse Project is leaving behind its beloved Store Street. Car park by day, rave haven by night, the spiritual dance space held events from 2007-2011, and then again from 2014 after a brief relocation to Victoria Warehouse in Trafford.

The full line up for The Warehouse Project’s 2018 season drops tomorrow (25th July) at 9am. The opening party, lead by Seth Troxler, Dixon and Peggy Gou, has already sold out. Other sold out dates for the 2018 season include Four Tet and Friends on October 6, and a headline slot from Bicep on November 10.
