Sam Fender shares new single ‘That Sound’

Sam Fender has shared a new single, That Sound, lifted from his forthcoming debut EP ‘Dead Boys’, out 20th November through Polydor Records.

The young North Shields musician, whose lyrics tackle hard-hitting subjects of social importance and generational significance, are broadly drawn from his experiences growing up on Tyneside. The content is significant, and wrapped in rousing, propulsive, arena-sized anthems.

The Vaccines confirm 2019 UK tour dates

The Vaccines have announced 2019 UK dates. Tickets go on general sale this Friday (26th), with fan pre-sales going live on Wednesday (24th). Following their outstanding 2018 UK tour which saw them play at festivals across the country, the band will return to play 11 dates (see below) at the start of the new year.

2018 saw the return of The Vaccines with their fourth album Combat Sports. Catch the band performing singles from the album including “I Can’t Quit” and “Your Love Is My Favourite Band” as they kick off the tour in Brighton January 25th ending at London’s Roundhouse, February 8th.

Dermot Kennedy shares new single ‘Power Over Me’

It’s not difficult to see why fans of Dermot Kennedy are emotionally connected to his music. Kennedy is a storyteller. His talent for songwriting unmatched. On latest single ‘Power Over Me’, Dermot once again delivers unapologetic lyrics with his distinctive Irish grit, driven by the idea of an all-consuming love.

Talking about the song, Dermot explains: The whole song started with just that one idea, that sole lyric of ‘you’ve got that power over me’. The idea of being totally bewitched by somebody, to be totally under their spell, in a really good way. Just totally enamoured.

Loyle Carner shares cute af video for ‘Ottolenghi’

Loyle Carner has returned with his brand new single and video for ‘Ottolenghi’, co-written and featuring Jordan Rakei. ‘Ottolenghi’ is named after, and loosely inspired by, the pioneering chef Yotam Ottolenghi.

The video was directed by multiple award winning director Oscar Hudson (Pulse Films) and follows Loyle and family on a train journey in to the surreal. The song’s title comes to life with the subtle cameo of Yotam Ottolenghi himself.

Friendly Fires share new Disclosure produced single ‘Heaven Let Me In’

Summer 2018 has been one to remember for St Albans trio Friendly Fires. The band – comprised of Ed Macfarlane, Edd Gibson and Jack Savidge – returned to to remind us all exactly why we fell in love with them in the first place.

Friendly Fires are back again, with their second new song of 2018. Built around a euphoric loop, ‘Heaven Let Me In’ is co-produced with Disclosure and was written in one late night session at the electronic duo’s north London studio.
