Nick Murphy returns with soulful, self-aware single ‘Sanity’

Nick Murphy has announced details for his long-awaited sophomore full length album Run Fast Sleep Naked, out April 26 via Downtown Records / Future Classic / Opulent.

Murphy also releases the soulful lead single “Sanity,” a song written at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La studio and brings bright piano melodies, off-kilter beats, and radiant synth lines to his unflinchingly self-aware lyrics.

Flume shares new single ‘Friends’ (featuring Reo Cragun)

Flume has dropped a new track, “Friends” (feat. Reo Cragun), his first official single since 2016. The track premiered on triple j in Australia and was written and recorded in Los Angeles with rising hip-hop artist Reo Cragun.

Last week, Flume (a.k.a Harley Streten) released Hi This Is Flume, a 38-minute mixtape and accompanying visualiser directed by longtime collaborator Jonathan Zawada. The mixtape has already been streamed over 18 million times.

WATCH: Joel Baker releases touching video for ‘What’s A Song’

Directed by long time collaborator and friend, George Baxter, the video for the first track taken from Joel Baker’s forthcoming debut album is a touching tribute to his mother.

Joel notes: ‘I wrote this song a couple of years back about a breakup that was particularly painful. It’s about the small details of a break up that appear insurmountable at the time. However this song has evolved through the years and when I sing it now it means different things.’

London trio PALACE share ‘Martyr’ from new album ‘Life After’

London trio Palace have announced their sophomore album ‘Life After’ alongside brand new track ‘Martyr’. ‘Life After’ follows Palace’s acclaimed 2016 debut album ‘So Long Forever’ and will be released on July 12th.

‘Life After’ is an album with a clear message; hope. Its eleven tracks are full of the melodic warmth and rich textures. It is an album in equal parts about loss as well as a manual to moving on, stronger than before.

Cage The Elephant Return with festival anthem ‘Ready To Let Go’
