Having already confirmed Foals as 2017’s headliners in a London festival exclusive, as well as a host of names including Bonobo, Laura Marling, Wild Beasts, Michael Kiwanuka, Ry X and many more, Citadel now unveils the identity behind one of the more mysterious names on their line-up, A Blaze of Feather.

Citadel is proud to host A Blaze of Feather’s very first festival in the capital. Mystery has shrouded the project over recent months which sees Ben Howard’s band explore the song’s of their long-term guitarist Mickey Smith.

Taking place at Victoria Park on July 16th, London’s ideal Sunday escape welcomes headliners Foals and Bonobo. Citadel Festival takes over Victoria Park following Lovebox Festival, for a Sunday filled with culture, comedy, arts, food and music.

Festival Review :: Citadel Festival 2016

We associate Sundays with hangovers, regrets, food comas and walks of shame. And that needs to change. Citadel Festival is about celebrating Sunday as anything but a day of rest. Victoria Park is always pretty good at bringing London together on a sunny day, and Citadel Festival made it even better.

For a festival not entirely centred around music, it was a bloody good day of music. We have no idea how or why people found time to sit down for a £35 roast served by The Sportsman gastropub of Whitstable. Here are some of the totally lost-for-words amazing artists you may have missed…
