Glastonbury is the world’s greatest festival. A place for dreamers, Glasto is a five-day festival of contemporary performing arts.

This year’s festival has sold out. We’re predicting Foo Fighters, Radiohead and Ed Sheeran will headline Glasto 2017.

Other line up predictions from Music Festival News for 2017 include The xx, Bon Iver, The National and Imagine Dragons.

This will be the first time Ed Sheeran headlines Glastonbury Festival. He follows in the footsteps of British solo artist Adele, who headlined last year (2016).

This year’s festival takes place at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset from 21 – 25 June.

The festival will not go ahead in 2018. The future of Glasto is uncertain, as organisers search for a new site.

What is the future of Glastonbury? Find out in our posts below.

Where is Glastonbury Moving in 2019?

The next scheduled, sold-out Glastonbury Festival is June 2017. Glastonbury Festival will take place, as normal, at Worthy Farm. The next scheduled Glastonbury Festival fallow year is 2018. This is a year off to allow the farm to repair. Completely no Glastonbury in 2018. Not at Worthy Farm, not anywhere.

The first Glastonbury Festival taking place on land outside of Worthy Farm is Glastonbury 2019. In 2019, Glastonbury will not return to Worthy Farm. Glastonbury will move to a site more suitable, around 100 miles away.

Lady Gaga Responds to Glastonbury 2017 Rumours

NME have been talking to Lady Gaga about whether she will grace the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2017Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – replies in a suspicious manner: Glaaaastonbury! I don’t have permission to say anything about that.

Obviously this response suggests Gaga could be sworn to secrecy until she’s announced. Last week, Emily Eavis confirmed 90% of the line-up for the main stages is already in place. Lady Gaga last played Glastonbury Festival back in 2009, where she appeared on the Other Stage and Shangri-La.
