Guide to British Summer Time Hyde Park 2019

Next Friday, 5th July 2019, British Summer Time returns to Hyde Park for two weekends of music with huge international headliners. Opening weekend one is a lady who needs no introduction. Celine Dion is renowned for incredible live shows and a monumental vocal range.

Saturday 6th July welcomes the return of Stevie Wonder for “The Stevie Wonder Song Party: A Celebration of Life, Love & Music”, with very special guest Lionel Richie. Sunday 7th July is a party with the ultimate icon Barbara Streisand, alongside two legends in their own right: Bryan Ferry and Kris Kristofferson.

The National and Florence & The Machine share the headline slot on Saturday 13th July. The National’s eighth studio album ‘I Am Easy To Find’ is filled with delicate-ferocious rock festival anthems such as ‘You Had Your Soul With You’ and ‘Quiet Light’.

Saturday 13th July also belongs to Scandinavian pop Queen Lykke Li. Just over a year since the release of ‘so sad so sexy’, Lykke returns to London for a UK festival exclusive with brand new material including her recent Mark Ronson collaboration ‘Late Night Feelings’.

The festival closes on Sunday 14th July Britain’s greatest entertainer – Robbie Williams.

British Summer Time Hyde Park is about more than the headline performances. Make sure you get to the park early to make the most of the delicious street food, fun activities, fairground rides and new music that the festival has to offer away from the main stage.

In collaboration with The Royal Parks, the festival’s free programme takes place between the two weekends of music. Head to Hyde Park for a jam-packed week of summer fun including the UKs biggest outdoor craft beer festival, blissful yoga, free outdoor cinema, street food markets and more.
