INTERVIEW :: Adam French @ The Deaf Institute, Manchester

After spending the last year playing huge festivals such as Reading & Leeds, and supporting Jake Bugg on his acoustic tour, Adam French’s beautiful lyrically lead tracks have us craving the release of his first album.

His most recent EP, Weightless, explores factors like love with somewhat deep lyrics relating mainly to his personal relationships. Adam’s voice echoes through Manchester’s Deaf Institute as he plays a variation of tracks from Weightless and his previous, more optimistic EP, Face to Face.

Interview :: The Hunna reveal festival plans for 2018

We are travelling across a bridge over the Thames on a double-decker bus. The Australian and Swedish pop stars have invited us on a tour of London with The Original Tour. As we take in the sights, Peking Duk and Icona Pop recall the time they met, on an airplane from Miami to Los Angeles – and it was by complete coincidence.

Interview :: LANY ‘We’re keeping it authentic’

Los Angeles based babes LANY launched the first wave of their dreamy, electro-pop sound in 2014 after uploading a batch of songs to the internet. 135 shows later, the Californian trio are rounding off their epic year in Berlin in December before creating a second album, due in 2018.

We caught up with Paul Klein, Jake Goss and Les Priest, before their sold out headline show at The O2 Ritz in Manchester.

Interview :: The View Ahead of TRNSMT 2017

Scottish rockers The View began 2017 on a high, with tickets selling out in less than twenty minutes for their record-breaking run of shows at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow to celebrate ten years as a band.

The View join fellow Scots Biffy Clyro and Twin Atlantic, on the closing day of TRNSMT, Sunday 9th July. Their extensive back catalogue includes six albums, and the band shows no sign of slowing down as they enter their second decade on the music scene.
