TOUR :: Banks {Europe, October 2017}

After a world tour that included a sold out show at London’s Roundhouse, and an impressive performance at Coachella – Banks has announced a European tour starting October 2017.

It’s been less than a year since Banks released her impeccable sophomore album The Altar, and already we’ve had surprise single Crowded PlacesLast week via Instagram, the singer teased more new music is on its way.

TOUR :: The Charlatans {UK, Nov/Dec 2017}

The Charlatans’ tour kicks off at Nottingham’s Rock City on November 29th the band play eleven dates in total, taking in Brixton Academy on December 9th before finishing in Belfast on the 11th.

The band, Mark Collins on guitar, Martin Blunt on bass, Tim Burgess vocals and Tony Rogers on keyboards – joined by The Verve’s Pete Salisbury on drums.

LISTEN :: Lana Del Rey – ‘Coachella, Woodstock In My Mind’

Last month, on her way home from Coachella, Lana Del Rey wrote a song of the same name, previewing the track on her Instagram with an explanation.

“I’m not gonna lie I had complex feelings about spending the weekend dancing whilst watching tensions w North Korea mount,” Lana wrote. “I just wanted to share this in hopes that one individual’s hope and prayer for peace might contribute to the possibility of it in the long run.”

LISTEN :: Nick Murphy – Missing Link {EP}

Melbourne vocalist and producer Nick Murphy, formerly known as Chet Faker, has returned with five-track EP ‘Missing Link’. The opening track and lead single, ‘Your Time’, is produced by non other than Montreal-raised artist Kaytranada.

Murphy has also announced a string of US, Europe and Australian tour dates including Troxy in London on December 5th, and Manchester Albert Hall on Dec 3rd. Stream ‘Missing Link’ below.

LISTEN :: Chase & Status, Blossoms – This Moment

2017 is the year of unexpected collaborations. First we had Linkin Park teaming up with Stormzy and Pusha T on ‘Good Goodbye’, this week it’s the turn of London dance duo Chase & Status and Stockport guitar band Blossoms.

The track, co-written by both bands, features Blossoms’ frontman Tom Ogden on lead vocals, with the track performed and produced by Chase and Status and Blossoms. ‘This Moment’ is the result of a chance meeting of the two groups in the studio.

Gorillaz Announce Humanz Tour 2017, tickets on sale

Following the launch of Demon Dayz, their very own sold out Margate music festival, Gorillaz announce a new set of UK tour dates for later this year. Taking in Brighton, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London, Gorillaz tour will celebrate the band’s fifth studio album, ‘Humanz’.

Tickets for Gorillaz highly-anticipated ‘Humanz’ tour go on sale at 9am on Friday (5th May) via Ticketmaster. The band recently made a live appearance on US TV, performing Let Me Out with Pusha T.

Harry Styles Live On Tour 2017 UK Tour Dates

Harry Styles has announced his first solo world tour for late 2017. Harry Styles Live On Tour includes four UK dates, including shows at Manchester O2 Apollo, Glasgow SEC Armadillo and two nights at London Eventim Apollo.

Harry Styles’ self-titled debut album will be released globally on Friday May 12. The 10-track album features lead single Sign of the Times. The album was executive produced by Jeff Bhasker, Alex Salibian, Tyler Johnson and Kid Harpoon.

WATCH :: Bonobo – Bambro Koyo Ganda

Bonobo has shared a video for the new single Bambro Koyo Ganda, an expansive track from Migration featuring vocals from Moroccan by-way-of New York City band Innov Gnawa.

Perhaps more than any other tune on the album, Bambro sonically embodies what Migration is – a journey through cultural and locational displacement and the strange familiarity that inevitably surfaces out of transient life.
