Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and raised in the UK, Miles from Kinshasa is a South London-based singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer making a style of music he calls Rumba-pop.

On Fireworks we experience Rumba-pop as smooth, relevant alternative electro-pop awash with soul. We hear the South London creator singing about a search for inner-peace.

WATCH :: Bonobo – Bambro Koyo Ganda

Bonobo has shared a video for the new single Bambro Koyo Ganda, an expansive track from Migration featuring vocals from Moroccan by-way-of New York City band Innov Gnawa.

Perhaps more than any other tune on the album, Bambro sonically embodies what Migration is – a journey through cultural and locational displacement and the strange familiarity that inevitably surfaces out of transient life.

Will Heard has shared a brand new video for his upbeat electro soul track ‘I Better Love You’. The track has been lifted from the twenty-five year old south Londoner’s brilliant debut EP Trust, out now on Black Butter Records.

Directed by Los Angeles-born Calmatic (The Internet, Syd, Anderson Peak) and starring Will himself, the video is a highly energetic hypnotic visual inspired by 80’s breakdance films.

WATCH :: Joey Bada$$ – Land Of The Free

Last week (March 3rd), Joey Bada$$ announced his sophomore album ‘All-Amerikkkan Bada$$’ due April 7th. To coincide with the announcement, Joey has released the video for lead single off the album, ‘Land of the Free.’

The video shows Joey leading a group of African Americans through picturesque American landscape, and climaxes with a standoff between Joey’s group and white authoritarian figures. Joey co-directed the video alongside Nathan Smith.

Blossoms show love for Stockport in their new video for Honey Sweet. Inspired by 80’s cinema the video sees the band cycling around their hometown of Stockport in search of the Delorean as seen in Back to the Future.

On making the video, Tom Ogden said: We like to dabble at filmmaking ourselves when we can, so we jumped at the chance to make our own video again. Think ET meets Strangers Things shot in Stockport.
