Help Refugees was started in 2015 by a group of friends initially to raise £1,000. They have since gone on to become the largest grassroots provider of aid to refugees in Europe and beyond, funding hot food, shelter, medical care, unaccompanied child protection, search & rescue and education for hundreds of thousands of refugees.
There are currently 65 million displaced people worldwide. Over half of these are children. The funds raised from Rave for Refugees and the wider Choose Love Winter Appeal will be used to help the 60,000 refugees in Greece (including 9,000 pregnant women and 24,000 children) survive winter as well as providing search & rescue operations and education for child refugees.
