Reading & Leeds brought festival season 2018 to a close over a rainy bank holiday weekend. Organisers have announced ticket details for the festival’s return in 2019.
Over 200,000 festival goers raved across both sites this year, with sets from the likes of Kings Of Leon, Fall Out Boy, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Dua Lipa and Panic! At The Disco, among others.
Both festivals were also filled with special moments throughout the weekend including Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda joining SUM 41 on stage for an emotional tribute performance to Chester Bennington (alongside his own sets at both festivals).
Reading & Leeds 2018 was dubbed “the year of rap”, with standout sets from Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Brockhampton and Travis Scott.
Elsewhere, two festival-goers got engaged during Wolf Alice’s set on the Radio 1 stage. Meanwhile, secret sets from Bring Me The Horizon, The Wombats and Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes on the BBC Introducing Stage also got the crowds going crazy.
Reading & Leeds will return next year, on 23-25 August 2019. Tickets will go on sale this coming Friday, 31st August 2018 at 1pm GMT.
