Sounds of the City is back taking over Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl in summer 2018. Artists include Shed Seven, Haçienda Classiçal, A Beautiful Day Out featuring The Levellers, Rag’n’Bone Man, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott + Elvis Costello & The Imposters.
Shed Seven made one of indie-rock’s most triumphant returns this year having released their first new album in 16 years. They will headline their biggest ever show at Sounds of The City on Friday 29th June, joined by special guests Reverend And the Makers + The Twang.
Brighton folk punk band and live favourites Levellers play the Bowl on Sunday 1st July. Joining Levellers will be New Model Army and a whole host of acts to be announced soon.
Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott + Elvis Costello & The Imposters take over Castlefield Bowl on Friday 6th July for an incredible show.
Following a monumental 12 months, the biggest UK breakout act Rag’n’Bone Man headlines Castlefield Bowl for the very first time on Wednesday 4th July. Haçienda Classiçal are back at the Bowl on Saturday 30th June. Special guests Stereo MCs also join the line-up.
