Summer Series Somerset House
Best London concert series
This year’s Summer Series at Somerset House presents another world-class line-up in the open-air surroundings of one of London’s most iconic landmarks. Performers this year include Norah Jones, Foster The People, Tom Misch, Warpaint, Birdy & more.
British Summer Time Hyde Park
Best major London festival
Now approaching its fifth year, Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park has been host to some of the biggest and best live acts in the world. BST Hyde Park 2017 welcomes Phil Collins in a European festival exclusive, for his biggest ever solo performance. Justin Bieber and Kings of Leon also bring huge performances to Hyde Park in UK festival exclusives. The festival also has a free element including outdoor film screenings & more.
Best Sunday you’ll have all summer
Line-up includes headliner Foals in a London festival exclusive. Citadel also hosts A Blaze of Feather’s very first festival in the capital. Mystery has shrouded the project over recent months which is said to see Ben Howard’s band explore the song’s of their long term guitarist Mickey Smith. Citadel is truly the best Sunday you’ll have all summer combining music with yoga, culinary delights, spoken word, comedy and more.
Best East London festival
Line-up includes headliner Frank Ocean in a London festival exclusive, alongside Chase & Status and Kano. Guest curators for the weekend include reopened East London club venue Fabric who will be showcasing acts like Seth Troxler and Dixon, and New Gen will also be there alongside Noisey touting emerging London artists like Rex Orange County.
Best autumn family festival
Taking place in the Capital’s leafy outskirts, OnBlackheath has established itself as a landmark event in the London calendar. As well as live music, OnBlackheath offers the ultimate festival weekend with mouth-watering food and drink and a fun-filled program of entertainment for all ages. Headliners this year include The Libertines, and a UK festival exclusive performance of Travis performing ‘The Man Who’ in full.
Junction 2 Festival
Best underground dance festival
Junction 2 Festival is a cutting-edge techno festival held under the M4 Motorway bridge in Boston Manor Park, West London. Following a sold-out debut last year, the sophomore edition taking place on June 10th 2017 will feature 5 stages of music hosted by some of europe’s leading underground music brands including Drumcode, Sonus Festval and The Hydra.
