Last year’s headliners were Rihanna and Bieber. Let’s see if Jay Z does a better job than Justin. The last time Jay Z headlined a UK festival was Glastonbury back in 2008. Jay Z’s V Festival booking follows recent news that Beyoncé is no longer headlining Coachella this year.
Pink last played V Festival back in 2007 with hits Let’s Get The Party Started and Who Knew. The line up also boasts emerging pop-stars including Anne-Marie and Raye.
Man of the moment Stormzy is also confirmed for V Festival 2017, after making history last year when he stepped in last-minute.
With a lack of notable bands on this year’s line up, V Festival confirms it’s mainstream status.
Tickets for V Festival 2017 go on sale from 9am on Friday 3rd March via Ticketmaster.
