Festival season 2018 keeps turning up the heat and we aren’t complaining. This week (9th – 13th July) British Summer Time returns to Hyde Park with Open House, four days of activities and free entry.
Enjoy the long days and warm summer nights with themed movie nights, live music and entertainment, street food, pop up bars, tennis and football screenings, comedy bingo, family theatre, yoga and more.
The Mayor of London and Secretary of State have officially announced a huge public screening of Croatia v England at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park Open House.
This coming Wednesday (11th July) marks England’s first World Cup semi-final since 1990 and City Hall and the Government have worked together to help fans follow the team’s journey with an outdoor screening.
The game in Moscow, will be screened at 7pm on Hyde Park’s Great Oak Stage and will mark the biggest London screening of a football match since 1996!
Up to 30,000 tickets will be available for the screening and all tickets are FREE. The tickets will be allocated to fans via official ticket ballot and registration for the ballot will start at 4pm today (Monday 9th July) and will run until midnight. You will be able to link to the ballot here once live.
Tickets will be allocated by a lottery system and all successful applicants will receive an email at approx. 10am on 10th July which will require confirmation of your attendance within 3 hours of receipt of the email. If round 1 winners do not confirm by the deadline above, alternative winners will be selected and sent an email at approx. 1pm on 10th July 2018, requiring confirmation of attendance within 3 hours of receipt of the email.
Please note that fans are strongly advised to only attend Hyde Park if they have a ticket, as there will be no admission to anyone without a ticket. There will be no walk-ups or tickets available on the door.
All Open House activity initially scheduled for Wednesday 11 July will be re-programmed and details will be released asap.
