Citadel Festival have announced the first acts on its line-up for 2019. The festival returns to Gunnersbury Park in South West London on Sunday on 14th July.
Headlining this year’s festival will be Catfish and the Bottlemen, who release their new album The Balance in April. Other standout acts playing include Rag’n’Bone Man, Friendly Fires, Bear’s Den, Matt Corby, DMA’S, Honeyblood, Dream Wife and Fontaines D.C.
Citadel welcomes Catfish and the Bottlemen to Gunnersbury Park for their first headline slot at the festival. With a new album set for release in April, their set will feature a selection of new material to fit amongst some of their biggest hits and live favourites, including Kathleen and 7.
London record label Communion mark a return to Citadel to host the Second Stage. Headlining the Communion Stage are London’s Bear’s Den, set to release their third album, ‘So that you might hear me’ in April.
Heading back to Citadel in 2019 will be DIY on the third stage. DIY will be pioneering the very best in creative and imaginative live music, by hosting a series of trailblazing artists on its renowned stage such as Tinariwen, Fontaines D.C., The Murder Capital and Squid.
Other performers announced so far include Hyukoh, The Coronas, Matthew and the Atlas, The Teskey Brothers, Talos, Cleopatrick, Banfi, MarthaGunn, Balcony, Cosmic Strip and Bill Jefferson.
