Summer 2018 has been one to remember for St Albans trio Friendly Fires. The band – comprised of Ed Macfarlane, Edd Gibson and Jack Savidge – returned to to remind us all exactly why we fell in love with them in the first place.
Friendly Fires are back again, with their second new song of 2018. Built around a euphoric loop, ‘Heaven Let Me In’ is co-produced with Disclosure and was written in one late night session at the electronic duo’s north London studio.
Talking about the track, Friendly Fires Ed Macfarlane says: Heaven Let Me In is a song about being comfortable in your own skin. When you stop trying so hard and embrace your imperfections then opportunities arise and doors open.
‘Heaven Let Me In’ is another pointer towards the sound of Friendly Fires third album, set for release in 2019.
