Boy Better Know have been revealed as one of the The Other Stage headliners for Glastonbury Festival 2017, organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed.
Speaking to NME, Eavis said that the grime movement feels like punk. Also on Glastonbury’s list of MCs is Stormzy, Nines, Nadia Rose, Wiley, Dizzee Rascal and Kano. It’s unclear which night BBK will headline The Other Stage, but grime will certainly have pride of place at this year’s festival.
Eavis added: Everybody’s listening, even the Americans. It feels like we’re witnessing something really exciting and fresh and the whole scene has kind of shifted. Grime has entered our lives in such a big way and it’s brilliant that we’re representing that as much as possible.
