Glastonbury reveals Emerging Talent Competition long-list 2019

Glastonbury Festival has revealed the long-list for this year’s Emerging Talent Competition, supported by PRS Foundation.

The 90 acts were chosen by the festival’s judging panel, made up of 30 of the UK’s online music writers. Listen to the playlist below featuring music from emerging talent Kudu Blue, iiola, Swimming Girls and more.

These acts will now be whittled down to a shortlist of just 8 acts who will compete at April’s live finals for a slot on one of the main stages at Glastonbury Festival 2019.

The winners of the competition will also be awarded a £5,000 PRS for Music Foundation Talent Development prize, to help take their songwriting and performing to the next level.

Two runners-up will also each be awarded a £2,500 PRS for Music Foundation Talent Development prize.
