Earlier on BBC R1, Lorde teased an appearance at Glastonbury Festival 2017, not long after dropping her brand new single Green Light, the first single from her upcoming album Melodrama.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1’s Mistajam, Lorde declared her love for the UK, with expectant visits around the corner. Mistajam questioned whether Lorde has any plans to visit a ‘certain farm’.
Lorde responded: Farms are cool… who knows? I do love a farm, that’s all I’m gonna say. Does that mean Lorde has the ‘Green Light’ for Glastonbury this summer?
Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran headline the Pyramid Stage this year, with the rest of the line up expected in April. Tickets for Glastonbury 2017 have sold out, stay posted for the resale.
Lorde was meant to play Glastonbury 2014, but pulled out in the name of family time. If she saw the mud last year, we’re guessing it may have put her off for good!
