If festival season is a long summer’s day, then Love International is golden hour.
Held at The Garden Resort in Tisno, Croatia over 7 days in July, Love International is effortless. The magical energy of the garden hits you from the moment you arrive. From the beach to the stages to accommodation, everything is within walking distance.
More and more festivals are greedily expanding, selling over capacity and relying on corporate brand sponsorship. It’s hard to find something real. Love International has been running for 5 years, and the family vibe and authenticity can still be felt.
The overs category never looked so good. With an audience of mostly aged 25+, Love International is a festival for dance music professionals looking for that sweet taste of hedonism.
There’s no such thing as time, only sunrise and sunset. The days and nights blend into one another, soundtracked by a sea of lifting electronic music.
Musical highlights came from a wave of extraordinary women. Australian DJ, Roza Terenzi, tore up The Beach Stage on Friday night with ‘Handbaggers – U Found Out (Tony Vit remix)’ proving a crowd favourite. Eliza Rose played a euphoric set on The Garden Stage, ending with her tune-of-the-summer contender, ‘B.O.T.A. Baddest Of Them All’. Fresh from Glastonbury – girl group of electronic music – Shanti Celeste, Saoirse, Moxie, and Peach – played a special 8-hour b2b set into the Sunday morning.
There’s no amount of partying that a dip in the Adriatic Sea cannot cure. As well as losing your mind on the dance-floor until sunrise, Love International also exists as a place to relax. Soul-replenishing food and full-body massages all add to the healing experience.
See you next year, happy place.
