Alternative music event Wide Awake Festival is returning to Brockwell Park in South London on 27th May 2023.
In-demand Taiwanese act Sunset Rollercoaster, renowned for their nostalgic vibes, will be performing alongside festival favourite Erol Alkan and the explosive garage-punk band Osees.
Also joining the bill is Irish noise rockers Gilla Band, Berlin based Habibi Funk bringing with the eclectic sounds from the Arab world, legendary New York rockers A Place To Be Bury Strangers not to mention Ty Segall, the Californian dreamer bringing his psych-influenced garage rock to this years event, with many more acts still to be announced.
With equality and diversity being a core to their ethos, Wide Awake have taken on The Keychange Pledge and are committed to a line up consisting of at least 50% women or underrepresented genders, reflected in their 2022 line up which featured acts with at least one underrepresented gender member.
