Defected, We Dance As One
This year’s foray into live streaming was pioneered by London’s world renowned dance music label, Defected. The independent label will host their final Virtual Festival for the year, in place of their yearly New Year’s Eve club events, with an all-star line-up.
After the cancellation of Defected’s New Year’s Eve show at Printworks London, two acts will stream from the venue, Sonny Fodera and Gorgon City, who will be reunited for the first time since the pandemic began in March. Also among the acts performing is Inner City, Roger Sanchez and Dom Dolla.
Having fundraised for mental health charity Mind with the first event in October, the second and third instalments of We Dance As One are raising money for The Trussell Trust, a UK-based charity that supports a nationwide network of food banks, providing emergency food and support for people locked in poverty and working towards a hunger free future.
We Dance As One 3.0 will be live streamed across Defected’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitch platforms on Thursday 31 December.
