Ezra Collective, Greentea Peng, Yussef Dayes & more for We Out Here 2021
Gilles Peterson’s We Out Here festival will return to the much-loved Abbots Ripton site across 19 – 22 August 2021.
Previously home to The Secret Garden Party, Abbots Ripton will provide a beautiful setting for We Out Here’s return to the UK festival scene next summer.
We Out Here has announced a first-wave line up that features some of the UK’s brightest talent, reaffirming its commitment to the spaces, faces, basements and dancefloors that make up the eclectic musical landscape that we have missed so much this year.
We Out Here 2021 welcomes pivotal players from across the UK’s jazz scene to head-up the live music line-up, including London staples Ezra Collective and Mo-es Boyd. Further highlight solo sessions come from neo-soul talent Greentea Peng, producer Alfa Mist, and drumming extraordinaire Yussef Dayes.
We Out Here continues to take audiences on a journey into the electronic world with their offering of DJs. Starting with a deep-dive into the UK’s new generation leaders Sherelle, Tash LC, and Jamz Supernova. They’ll be joined by scene-staples including Call Super, Alexander Nut, Dan Shake.
With roll-out of the vaccines as well as government trials for mass testing, We Out Here is confident that the event will go ahead as planned. While hopeful, organisers are considering various formats should there still be regulations in place, to ensure a safe and enjoyable event can take place next summer.
