The full support line up for Bristol Sounds 2019 has been announced, including Yussef Dayes, Ibibio Sound Machine, She Drew The Gun, Villagers and Another Sky.
The open-air summer event, held at Bristol Harbourside has expanded to five nights for the first time and takes place from 26th-30th June.
Friday night’s gig featuring Bloc Party, She Drew The Gun and Liz Lawrence has sold out, with the further four dates selling fast.
On Wednesday 26th June, Tom Misch will be supported by Yussef Dayes. After releasing his solo debut ‘Love is the Message’ recorded at Abbey Road last year, jazz percussionist Yussef Dayes will be kick-starting the concert series.
On Thursday 27th June, Ibibio Sound Machine will start the night bringing their electronic, afro-funk infused beats to the bill. Australian outfit The Cat Empire will then take to the stage with their energetic, feel-good, euphoric roots pop filling the Amphitheatre.
On Saturday 29th June, the Conor O’Brien fronted Irish band Villagers will start the night with their traditional folk tunes. Elbow will then return to a Bristol stage, having headlined The Downs in 2017.
